3-star hotels

There're not many European-style budget hotels in Moscow. Most of them are Soviet buildings meant for a large number of guests. Reasonably priced hotels are usually outside of the city center. Among the most well-known are the Cosmos (officially a 4-star hotel) and the Izmailovo, both have a convenient location near the metro. Other reliable budget options include the Maxima Zaria hotel, the Hotel Molodyozhny, the hotel Universitetskaya (a 10-minute walk from the metro station, doubles from 90 EUR), a cruise ship Alexander Blok (anchored close to the center of Moscow near the Exhibition Complex on Krasnaya Presnya, doubles 90 EUR).
