At 8 am your Moscow tour guide greets you at the hotel to start driving to Vladimir. It will take you about 3-4 hours to get there. On the way we will have a quick stop to have tea with pirozhki (pies).  During the sightseeing tour of Vladimir you will see the highlights of the city including the Assumption cathedral (it it is open), St Demetrius cathedral, Golden gates and learn the old history of Vladimir, once the capital of Rus.
Driving to Bogolyubovo, famous for the ancient Pokrova-on-the-Nerl Church. It is a 15 minute walk to the church of 12 century located on the Nerl river among picturesque meadows and 15 minute walk back  but it is absolutely worth doing on a good day.
Driving to Suzdal ( about 40 min)

Free time to enjoy quiet life of Suzdal where there are no train stations or industries. Gazing at its blue river, wooden houses, picturesque meadows you may feel that time has stopped here.

Day 2
After breakfast Sightseeing tour will take you to explore Museum of Wooden Architecture (During the low season it will be substituted with the Intercession Convent), St Euthimius monastery (or Intercession Convent), Suzdal Kremlin. Suzdal, once the capital of Rostov-Suzdal principality is like a museum under the open sky, its medieval monuments can tell you its old stories and legends.

Day3
Breakfast is followed by the city tour of Kostroma. The town is located at the confluence of the Volga and Kostroma Rivers. During the tour you will visit the Ipatiev Monastery, once the shelter of Mikhail Romanov, the first tsar of the Romanov Dynasty. He was offered the Russian throne in 1613 thus ending the Time of Troubles and Polish Intervention in Russian. You will also see the Trinity Cathedral, known for its frescos as well as walk through the central part of Kostroma to admire 18th century architecture of provincial town.

Sightseeing tour includes the visit to Saviour Transfiguration Monastery and Church of Elijah the Prophet (in the summer), walk along the Volga embankment which offers  myriads of photo opportunities.

Day 4
After breakfast you  start driving to Rostov.
Rostov the Great has been known since the 9th century. It is famous for the 17th century Kremlin with numerous churches and gorgeous views from the Kremlin walls. (Unlike in Moscow Kremlin, here you might walk along the fortified wall).

Driving to Pereslavl Zalessky, the town known since the 12th century
Short sightseeing tour of  Red Square and the remparts
This town is famous for some unique museums like Museum of Iron, Museum of Kettle,  Botik Museum ( This museum contains the only surviving boat from Peter the Great amusement flotilla)
Transfer back to Moscow
