Балалайка-/ba-la'lai-ka/-balalaika

Today I would like to introduce you a traditional Russian instrument Balalaika. It usually has three strings and it varies in size consequently in pitch from the prima balalaika contrabass balalaika. You can not imagine Russian Folk Orchestra without balalaika. Do not miss a chance to listen to balalaika in one of Moscow concert halls during your Moscow city break. Follow this link to listen to Russian balalaika virtuoso,  Alexey Arhipovsky who significantly broadened balalaika performance capabilities.
