Борщ-/Borsch/- a beetroot soup

I continue culinary topic this week. I would like to introduce one more dish which is widely spread in Russia and Ukraine. This is borsch, or beetroot soup traditionally served with sour cream. The etymology of the word borsch  goes back to the hogweed plant which is pronounced in Russian as "borschevik" and which leaves were applied to prepare a soup. Evidently that's why this soup got such a name, borsch. Beetroot soup among numerous dishes is the one you should definitely try during your Moscow city break. Ask your Moscow tour guide the best place to taste it.
