Быстро - /bystro/ - quickly

The French word bistro, which means a small budget restaurant, most probably has the Russian origin. According to a legend it came to the French language at the end of the Napoleonic wars. Russian army entered Paris in 1815. Rusian Cossacks who loved the French food and drinks rushed to numerous cafes and restaurants of Paris. They wanted to be served quickly and shouted "bystro'. This is how later fast-serving cheap cafes 'bistro' appeared in Paris.
