Charity Concert on November 14

We invite you to a charity concert. On Friday, November 14th at 7.30 pm Musica Viva Chamber Orchestra will perform at "Gnessinsky on Povarskaya street" concert hall.(Povarskaya street, 38). All funds raised at the event will be used to support Children's Hospital Fund.
 
Musica Viva is a famous Russian chamber orchestra that performs music of various genres.Depending on the program, the cast may vary from the baroque ensemble to a symphony orchestra of the time of Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Schumann. For more than two decades, the orchestra has been led by the world famous musician Alexander Rudin.

Musica Viva strives to return to the original concept of the music, playing baroque and classical music the way it was originally performed. Thus in 2006 the orchestra presented a unique project when all musicians played historical instruments of Haydn and Beethoven era.

Musica Viva performs operas and oratorios together with outstanding foreign singers and conductors and regularly participates in international music festivals. The orchestra has toured in Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Japan and other countries. Every year, the team plays concerts in various cities of Russia. Musica orchestra has recorded over 20 CDs, the last album they recorded was the music of Dvorak (2013).

All funds raised at the event will be used to support "Children's Hospital" fund

"Children's Hospital" foundation is the only fund in the country, engaged in rehabilitation of children with burn injury. The Foundation was set up in 2001 by leading specialists and Heads of Departments of Speransky Children's Hospital. The charity raises funds to buy expensive medical supplies and equipment.The Foundation successfully implements a program of social and psychological rehabilitation of children affected by burn injury.
