The festival of Christmas fairs "Journey to Christmas"
From December 20 to January 8

 "Journey to Christmas" festival brings to the Russian capital the charming atmosphere of European Christmas. You can find Christmas fairs all over central Moscow:  just walk along central squares and streets of the capital. (Overall 34 locations have been chosen by Moscow authorities).
At the festival you can get bright souvenirs from Prague, Vena, Armenia, Belarus, Ukraine and numerous Russian towns,  try traditional Christmas food and drinks from various regions.
The guests of the festival will have a chance to take part in numerous workshops, traditional folk games and show programs.

Magic winter festival
National Exhibition center, up to February 28, 2014

Come here to wander along winter streets, decorated with thousands of luminous garlands, smell the aroma of mulled wine and freshly baked gingerbread and listen to romantic Christmas
Music. The festival will include animation and unusual master classes.

 Christmas Bazaar
Tsvetnoy Central Market, GUM, TSUM, until 31 December

Major Moscow stores welcome visitors to special Christmas bazaars. Here you can get Christmas trees and all sorts of festive decoration: handmade Christmas toys made of glass, felt or wood, figurines of Santa Claus and Snow Maiden, garlands, candles , kitchenware and even festive Christmas outfits.
The festival in Gum takes place not only inside but also on Red Square. Here you can taste traditional winter treat: honey sbiten, pancakes with butter and caviar, baked potato with mushrooms, mulled wine, grilled sausages, Viennese waffles, roasted chestnuts.. Visitors can get numerous souvenirs such as Zhostov trays , Khokhlomskaya toy, Orenburg shawls , printed gingerbread.

The guests of the festival will get lots of original gifts and creative ideas. You can find unusual jewelry made of natural stones, metal, glass , feathers, clay, wood and leather; designer clothes,
unique toys, bags. Handmade soap with healing herbs, ethnic accessories from different corners of the world, hand-made postcards might appear truly unique gifts that nobody else has seen.
At the festival you can join numerous master classes and make a Christmas gift with your own hands.
