Exhibition of Raphael in Moscow

The unique exhibition of Raphael, outstanding Italian painter and architect of the High Renaissance, opened in the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts this September. Art-buffs of all ages will be able to admire big collection of paintings and graphics performed by one of the geniuses, highly appreciated all over the world. In 2020 admirers of Raphael's talent will mark he 500th anniversary of his death and the exhibition in State Pushkin Museum will become the first cultural event timed to this memorable date.
This time the organizers payed special attention to portrait works of the Master. As we know, Raphael created a new type of Renaissance portrait, which showed character of a real person and, at the same time, represented common features of men that lived in his epoch. Being the follower of Leonardo da Vinci, he reinvented his achievements and proposed his own concept - colorful palette, based on the gradation of bright colors.
If you wish to include a visit to the Exhibition of Raphael to your Moscow tour itinerary we recommend that you buy tickets online.Please check of the museum, but be careful to get tickets to Raphael and not to some other exhibitions of the museum. On September 27 they’ll start selling tickets for the period from October 1-11. On October 4 you can get tickets for the period from October 12 to 18; October 11 will open the sale of excursions for the period October 19-25, and so on. The sale opens every Tuesday for the following week. Please note that tickets are usually sold out within the first hour.

Shchukin. Biography of a Collection.

Primeval Russia Photo Exhibition
One of the most interesting photo festivals opened its doors to the visitors of all ages in CHA (Tsentralny Dom Hudozhnika). The exhibition uniting more than 500 works is devoted to Russian nature. The project “Primeval Russia” was organized by the enthusiastic photographers, documentary directors, cameramen, travelers and scientists. These talented people wanted not only to share the most fascinating views of our country and reveal some interesting facts about wild animals but also to draw visitors' attention to the main theme - relationships between man and nature.
