If you have never been to Moscow before, it's certainly high time. The early autumn gives you a great occasion. This year, on the 5th of September the Russian capital celebrates its 868th birthday. On the threshold of the celebrations Moscow tour guides prepared for you a short list of holiday activities. 
 
On the 3d of September at 8.30 p.m. in front of the Bolshoi Theatre you'll be able to enjoy the evening concert of classical music called “The eternal music for the eternal сity”.

On the 5th of September at 10 a.m. the opening ceremony of Moscow birthday 2015 will take place. The guests will see a kind of retrospective telling about the main events in the life of the Russian capital. At the same time on Tverskaya street you will see the procession of military bands participating in the festival “Spasskaya Tower” accompanied by the Kremlin regiment of horse. 

This day Tsvetnoy Boulevard will be renamed to Children's boulevard. The young guests of the capital will be able to take part in interesting master classes, dance programs and free pony riding. 
 
The International festival of street art “Bright people” will take place on Neglinnaya Street. It will represent the best cultural and educational projects and unite the most talented teachers, artists and other representatives of creative professions of Russia and Europe. 
 
On the 5th and 6th of September the Boulevard Ring will become the creative centre of Moscow. Sretensky, Nikitsky and Chistoprudny boulevards will meet the guests with an outstanding musical program. The amateur artists are welcome to visit Petrovsky boulevard and take part in the mass-painting in the open air. Gogolevsky boulevard and Triumfalnaya Square will please the admirers of Russian literature with the concert performed by the well-known contemporary poets and writers. On Strastnoy boulevard the theatre-lovers will be able to see the fragments of Moscow theatres' plays and on Tverskoy boulevard – take part in different dance masterclasses. 
 
If you are planning a Moscow tour these days you can attend numerous free excursions that will be held in museums, libraries and parks of Moscow on the 5th and 6th of September. The culmination of the holiday will be the firework at 22.30.

On the 6th of September you will be able to visit the Charity Funds Festival called “Kind Moscow” and take part in special program consisting of charity run, concert and clothes market. All the money collected will go to the Moscow Charity organizations. In the evening Pushkin Square will turn into the “Moscow Broadway”. The guests of the capital will enjoy the fragments of the world-famous musicals. The photo-exhibition “Triumphal Moscow” hold on Chistoprudnyi, Gogolevsky, Rozhdestvensky, Strastnoy Boulevards and Arbat will close the celebration of the capital's birthday. It will run till the 13th of September.

One of the most interesting photo festivals opened its doors to the visitors of all ages in CHA (Tsentralny Dom Hudozhnika). The exhibition uniting more than 500 works is devoted to Russian nature.
