Moscow Spring 2016 festival

22.04.2016 – 09.05.2016
This April Russian capital will meet tourists and Muscovites with “Moscow Spring” festival. Every guest will have a chance to take part in thematic quest-game and free excursions, visit 26 souvenir fairs and learn more about Russian epic heroes, Orthodox holies, famous artists, scientists and inventors. This interesting event, uniting several holidays, will be divided into three parts – Holy week, Easter and Victory Day celebration.

Organizers of this festival prepared for you a lot of different activities. For example, quest-goers are welcome at 11 platforms of “Moscow Spring”. Here you can answer the questions, get special stickers and golden coins and change them into valuable prizes at Revolution and Tverskaya Squares. Plant-lovers can visit free Eco-school at Tverskoy Boulevard, listen to some theoretical courses and try curious master classes. Those who cannot imagine their life without sport will have a chance to master nuts and bolts of trampoline, rowing, field hockey and petanque.

Moscow tour guides recommend that you visit a special concert at Pushkinskaya Square on the 23d of April. Here you will listen to different pop, jazz and soul bands and get a lot of inspiration. We hope you will also pay attention to unique kinetic installations and sculptures created specially for this festival by talented modern artists. The most outstanding of them are 5-meter-tall composition “Bogatyri” (three epic heroes from Victor Vasnetsov' famous painting) at Revolution Square, sculpture “Dyadya Stepa” (famous character of Sergey Mickhalkov's series of poems) at Rozhdestvenka street and giant Easter Composition at Arbat. More information on this festival you will find on its official site
