The day of Borodino festival

Borodino village is most famous for The Battle of Borodino fought on September 7, 1812. It was the largest, bloodiest and most significant battle of the war against Napoleon. During the festival you can watch the reenactments of the key moments of the Borodino battle, performed by lancers, hussars, dragoons, grenadiers, cuirassiers, infantry and artillery who are the members of the military-historic clubs. Visiting Borodino might appear a true highlight of your Moscow tour.

You will need to get tickets for a paid tribune if you want to have a better view of military battles, otherwise you can watch the battle reconstruction from aside for free. The festival will take place 125 lm to the west of Moscow, your Moscow guide can accompany you to the Borodino village.

One of the most interesting photo festivals opened its doors to the visitors of all ages in CHA (Tsentralny Dom Hudozhnika). The exhibition uniting more than 500 works is devoted to Russian nature.
