Wild Mint festival

"Wild Mint" festival is the largest world music festival in Russia, which is held every summer in the cultural and ethnographic complex "Ethnomir" in Kaluga region. During the three days of the festival  (June 7-9) the guests will be delighted to hear diverse and vibrant music of the world, including Balkan melodies and Celtic rhythms, Latin American tunes, Russian melodies, sunny reggae and African rap.


 "Wild Mint" festival brings together brightest stars of the world music. Amongst the festival guests are Goran Bregovic (Serbia), Katzenjammer (Norway), Nino Katamadze (Georgia), Varttina (Finland), Tonino Carotone (Spain), Oquestrada (Portugal), Ivan Kupala and Inna A welcome, Zdob si Zdub (Moldova), Budzillus (Germany) , Billy's Band, Daha Braha, Sunsay, Egari (Georgia), John Forte (USA) and many others.

The festival will be interesting not only to music lovers but to everyone who is interested in culture and traditions of the world.

World-on-a-Plate food festival  will give you a chance  to taste  dishes of national cuisine: Indian, Serbian, Finnish and Spanish, Ukrainian and Uzbek.

The 'Green Age' territory offers numerous workshops, master classes, trainings. Hear you can meet artists or Asian healers, practice yoga, have a dancing class or to meditate.

There're also numerous fairs at the festival. You can attend the largest market of handmade gifts and try organic eco-friendly food from all over the world: red Chinese tea and homemade Serbian cheese, organic spices, nuts and dried fruit, northern taiga berries juice and honey!

Ethnomir  is a unique ethnographic park located 100 km from Moscow. It brings together the art, architecture and cultural traditions of  all over the world.. After a full day of the festival you will not have to return to the city. You can stay overnight in a hospitable Ukrainian cottage, in a colorful Indian tepee or under the open sky in a comfortable well-maintained camping. One of the most interesting photo festivals opened its doors to the visitors of all ages in CHA (Tsentralny Dom Hudozhnika). The exhibition uniting more than 500 works is devoted to Russian nature.
