Did you know where the ancestors of the Romanov tsars lived?  Are you curious to be the guest of a boyar? Why not join a tour to the unique museum which preserved the atmosphere of medieval Russia
 
Boyars Romanovs Chambers is museum is devoted to the boyars’ lifestyle of the 16th-17th centuries, which is also the époque of Ivan the Terrible and the first tsar of the Romanov.
Moving from one room into another one you are making a historical journey learning about everyday life of people in the past. During the tour we’ll learn why boys and girls lived in different parts of the house, what toys did they play with, and what was the usual occupation of their mothers.
 
The museum is located in one of the oldest preserved area in Moscow. We’ll have a walking tour of Varvarka street and plunge in the depths of the medieval history of Russia. You will learn about the everyday life of ordinary and noble people of XVI-XVII centuries, take a look at a First English embassy house and discover other unique monuments of Zaradjye disctrict.
