Once the whole city of Moscow was contained within the Kremlin walls, but as the city was growing it spread out to the area which later became known as Kitay-gorod. We are going to visit the second oldest area of Moscow. It preserves the memories of the 16th and 17th centuries: the first print shop, Old English Court, the Chambers of the Boyars Romanov. We will learn how diplomatic relations between England and Russia were established. We will speak about this area as the business center of Moscow of the 19th century and about utopical projects of the early Soviet period. And, finally, we will observe the Kremlin from the new park Zaryadye.
