Day 1

10 am Meeting with a guide in the hotel lobby
War history sightseeing tour of Volgograd with a visit of the main attractions of the city. The tour will feature the Central Embankment, Grain Elevator, Mansion of merchant Shlykov, Sasha Filippov's Park, Monument to the Guardian Angel of Volgograd. Square of the Fallen Fighters, Eternal Flame, Railway Station and "Children's dance" fountain

Central Department Store basement. During Stalingrad battle it accommodated the German headquarters, it was in this cellar of the building where Paulus surrendered. We’ll visit the «Memory» museum located right in the original base of the building and get to know more about the historic event of Stalingrad battle.

Pavlov's House. One of the focal points of the Battle of Stalingrad, a strategic apartment building that a small group of Soviet soldiers fortified and held for two months.

During the tour we’ll visit to the main war memorial at Mamayev Kurgan "To the Heroes of the Battle of Stalingrad". The famous Mamayev Kurgan located in Volgograd is included in the list of the Seven Wonders of Russia. Known since the time of the Golden Horde the hill was an important strategic object during the battle of Stalingrad and witnessed a particularly fierce fighting between the German attackers and the defending Soviet soldiers. Mamayev Kurgan is known today for the statue names The Motherland Calls,
2pm Lunch break

After lunch you may visit "The Battle of Stalingrad" panoramic-museum and exhibition "Weapon of Victory" at the open air.

Day 2

10 am Meeting with a guide
Tour to Rossoshka reconciliation ensemble in 30 km outside the city.
Forty minutes away from the city you may find a tragic memorial place – a military-memorial cemetery where the Russian and the German soldiers are buried close to each other. About 1500 people are buried here altogether.

Back in Volgograd we'll visit Stalingrad Bunker This bunker served as headqaurters of the Municipal Committee of Defense of Stalingrad. The bomb shelter contains exhibits from the times of the Great Patriotic War - machine guns, rifles, overcoats, battle maps.
