The Master and Margarita Walking Tour

During this tour you will explore the mysterious world of one of the most famous Mikhail Bulgakov's book "Master and Margarita" and the reality of Moscow of 1920s, as well as the different moments of the writer's life.

We'll walk through the places described in the book, for example, Patriarchy Ponds, where Woland (the devil, actually) meets some Muscovites for the first time. You’ll see also the "bad" apartment, where he stayed for a while and will discover why the address of this apartment was not existing. You'll learn why Bulgakov "appointed" the first meeting of the Master and Margarita at the place they met in the book and not in the other, and who inspired him to create the character of Margarita. Many puzzles left by the writer in his novel are waiting to be discovered, opening to curious minds how ingeniously reality was transformed by Bulgakov's talent to give to his readers many philosophical ideas and his attitude to the reality in which he had to live.
