If you wish to go off the beaten path we invite you to visit Zvenigorod, a picturesque old town 30 km outside of Moscow. During the tour we'll drive through the old town and see its preserved wooden and stone architecture, the hospital where famous Russian writer and doctor Anton Chekov used to work. We will see the old settlement with the 14th-century Church of Assumption featuring some frescoes by the famous Russian icon-painter Andrey Rublyov.

We will visit the Savino-Storozhevsky Monastery founded by St. Savva in the 15th century with the old church of Nativity of that time. In the 17th century this cloister became the spiritual summer residence of Russian Tsar Alexey Mikhailovich. This tour is the opportunity to plunge into the peaceful atmosphere of its place, enjoy sbiten (hot honey drink with spices) and delicious bread and pies made in the local monastery bakery. On the way back we will drive through Rublevka, the area populated by the Russian oligarchs.
