This tour includes the main tourist attractions such as the place where Tomsk was founded, historical part of the city, main natural landmarks and Bogoroditse-Alekseevski monastery.
One of the highlights of the city is bird-eye view on Tomsk from reconstructed firemen watchtower.
On the tour you will stroll through the Camp Garden with the memorial to those died during WWII as well as the old part of Dzerjinsky street where you can find a lot of wooden houses which are the point of pride for a lot of citizens. Elaborately decorated wooden window frames depicting birds and dragons became the symbols of the city.

Possible tour extension:
1. MEMORIAL MUSEUM OF POLITICAL REPRESSIONS HISTORY is the very first museum of history of political repressions in Russia and the only memorial museum of this theme founded in 1989 in the former NKVD custody building. (Duration: about 1,5 hours)
2. You can extend the tour to the full day by visiting Semiluzhskiy Cossack Fortress.
Located 35 km outside Tomsk you will visit a detailed reconstruction of XVII century Cossack fort. Warlord of the fortress will tell you about Siberian Cossack traditions, history and military solutions. You will have a chance to shoot a cannon, to practice in archery and crossbow shooting, try yourself as a blacksmith and drink Siberian herbal tea. (Tour duration: 4 hours)
