What do we know about these beautiful and gracious animals animals that pull Santa´s sleigh and help deliver Christmas presents?

Probably everyone recalls a famous Rodolph from the catoon but what do we know about reindeer habits, environment where they live, food they eat, characters they have?

We invite you to take a day trip to visit a private reindeer farm run by a family. The idea came to the owner, a former submariner when he saw a heard of reindeer on Kola peninsular being taken along the road to a slaughterhouse. He felt so bad about it that could not but purchased a couple of animals and brought them to the back yard of his house in Moscow region to live in. He had to spend a lot of time in Murmansk region to learn some tricks from a local reindeer herder. Ever since his farm expanded from a couple of reindeer to a hear of about 17 and became a popular venue among Russians over New Year times.
Petting and feeding these gracious animals is absolutely unique experience both for kids and adults.

Draft itinerary:
Driving from Moscow to the farm (about 2 hours)
Tour of the farm and feeding reindeer
Visit of the museum of the North and stories about reindeer herders
Tea with sweets and pies ( Please feel free to take some sandwiches etc)
Reindeer sleigh ride (It is paid on spot separately and depends if there is snow, +200RUB per person)
Free time for taking more pictures.
